Milo's Story...
Hi! Meet Milo! Milo is a wonderful, happy-go-lucky beagle looking for a home to call his own. He is approximately 7-8 years old, 22 lbs., neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Milo has a very friendly, sweet personality, and enjoys his walks. He is energetic, playful, and loves everybody. He is an escape artist and needs a home where he will be mostly an indoor dog and not left outside unattended. Beagles are burrowers and hunters so they do like to roam. He has been updated on his vaccinations and has tested negative for heartworms. This little boy would be a great addition to any loving home. If you are interested in meeting Milo, please call Animal Control at 703-385-7919 or stop by Town and Country Animal Hospital at 9836 Fairfax Blvd., Fairfax, VA 22030, 703-273-2110.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Fairfax Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Fairfax, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Fairfax.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairfax already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairfax breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairfax paves the way for another one to be saved.
