My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sparky is my name and I am a young, easy going pup. I am just under a year old (10 mos) and weigh a slight 24.5 lbs perfect for a smaller home. I was left at the door of a shelter so my history is vague. We have discovered that I am heartworm positive which is not a good thing. I know that it will make me feel poorly but I will be a big boy about it, because I see light at the end of the tunnel, cuddled up in the lap of my perfect forever family. Before coming to AGB, a nice lady that works at the shelter, kept me at her house for a few days so I know a home life is Grrrreat. She said that I was housetrained and that cats and other dogs are totally cool. I do pull a little on a leash, but heck I am still a pup and I am ready and willing to learn everything you bring my way. If you are looking for that perfect lap dog that won’t put you in traction, I am your guy. I know my perfect family is out there, so get your application in now, because I am not going to be around for very long, according to Miss Ruth.
