Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This pretty girl is Bear. She arrived to the shelter with her little canine family as part of a hoarding case on 2/25/14. As you can see from her photos she is absolutely terrified. She arrived with several other young adult females including Riley (ID # 563644) and Cardey (ID # 563643) in cage 78, and 5 pups that are only 6 months old. It's obvious to us that these poor dogs have not been shown love in their lives and have had no socialization whatsoever. Bear is just a year old and weighs 33 lbs. She is current on her vaccines and will be spayed, micro chipped and heartworm tested upon adoption. Her ID # is 563801 and she can be found run 79 along with 2 of the puppies Chubbs & Josephine (they may or may not be her puppies). This precious girl will need a very special adopter, her very own angel. She is going to need a lot of TLC and someone who will give her the time and attention and unconditional love she needs to bounce back. At this point she doesn't trust anyone and just getting her outside is difficult. Please give her a chance, that is what she needs and deserves after the difficult hand she'd been dealt in life. The rewards will be endless for helping this sweet baby girl.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
