My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can now meet Blizzard at Petco in Oswego during normal business hours. An application will still be required in order to adopt.

Hi I'm Blizzard! I'm told I'm a love, very friendly and very sweet. I'm great with other kitties, wonderful with dogs, love children, men and women. I was born around 2/23/10. After four years of being a loyal companion, my owners dumped me at Waukegan Animal Control. I was there for a few weeks, and really didn't do well in the cage with all of that noise. They don't have a separate kitty area so I was in a cage surrounded by barking dogs, which even a dog loving kitty like me was terrified with. I arrived in my foster home on February 23rd, and have settled in nicely. I love people and really want someone to love me and take care of me. I promise if you do I will love you back.

I came into my rescue very dirty. I have been bathed a couple times (once by a professional), but in time with brushing my once beautiful white long coat will shine again.

I'm currently being fostered in a home in Naperville, which is where you would go to meet me should your application be approved. If you would like to meet me, please go to www.angelsonwheels.org to complete the on-line feline adoption application. Please note that Angels On Wheels Animal Rescue is a foster based rescue and do not have a facility, which means all of our animals are cared for in homes of wonderful people who have volunteered their time to help save them. It can take several days to process your application and we thank you for your patience in advance.

The adoption fee of $125.00 includes a now fully vetted feline: The neuter, kitty box trained, microchip, FeLv/FIV testing which was negative, up to date with FVRCP vaccination, Rabies vaccination, fecal tested negative, Deworming, given Revolution along with any other medical needs. You will also receive a free health exam visit to one of our participating vets.
