Rudi's Info...

Rudi's Story...
Rudi is a 3 year old boy that came from NM after being rescued from an abandoned area where he was probably dumped and left on his own. He was picked up and then taken to the shelter in search of a new life. He is a sweet and mellow boy that needs help becoming more confident. Rudi can be a little shy at first but once he knows you and he comes out of his shell he is incredibly playful, affectionate, and loyal. He knows how to sit, stay, shake - he is smart, listens well and is curious about new things. Rudi loves being with his people hanging out with them and by their side as much possible. He would do best in a quiet home with no young kids or cats. Rudi is ok with other dogs but we think he would like to be the only pet as he doesn't have much interest in playing with dogs. He loves walks, car rides, chewing on bones, being petted and watching squirrels. Rudi would be an excellent dog for a family who is calm, patient, loving and looking for a great companion. Rudi is very sensitive and can be skittish to harshness so positive training methods are a must! He does have a fear of being left behind so we are looking for a stay at home person that can help him over come his insecurity.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudi, a Denver German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Denver, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
