Diesel's Story...
My name is Diesel. I am a 2 year old, male longhair cat. I am a playful, talkative guy looking for a loving forever home. I have a lot to say and I won't hesitate to tell you everything. I don't mind other cats so long as they don't mind me. I can play a little rough so would do best with a confident feline who can handle me. I would also likely adjust well to a cat-savvy dog. Children over 5 who have spent some time with cats would also be fine by this guy. I would love a sunny spot where I can relax and would enjoy some fun toys and a tall cat tree to spend my time in. When you are around though, I will surely want to be with you, purring and chirping up against your legs or cheeks. If you think I am a good match for your home, please head up to WHS so you can spend some time with me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diesel, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
