Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Summer is a beautiful, tri-colored female who was found lost in the woods north of Houston. She was filthy and suffering from a severe yeast infection. Her poor ears were bloody from her scratching at them! Summer is healthy again and looking like a well loved 2 year old. She is 14 inches tall and weighs a perfect 25 pounds.
Summer is housebroken with excellent manners. She never really needs kenneling, but will kennel quietly. She currently has the use of a dog door and loves patrolling the yard for invading critters. She does have a loud bay, but uses it mostly when a stranger is walking on her street. Summer interacts well with the other dogs in her foster pack, but seems to find the rowdy male her best match. She can play rough at times, but has never gotten too carried away. She loves to play chase and wrestle. During quiet time, Summer often goes off to find a place to nap away from the pack, so would probably do fine as an only dog. She sleeps through the night on a dog bed. She is always the last to get up each day, so would love a home where everyone sleeps in!
Summer is not a cuddler. She will come up for pets and loves the attention of humans. I think she would enjoy people time more if she didn’t have to share lap time with a pack. She can be very sweet when she one on one with her foster parents.
