Punkkin's Story...
Punkin is a 9 month old Spayed female Boxer mix (with Great Dane? ) who is tan with an adorable black face, white blaze and Cattle dog ticking on her chest and paws. She began her journey in El Paso, Texas and somehow found her way to California. She is a very active pup who has a big kiss for every dog and human she meets. You get a Hello kiss, an I missed you kiss, a thanks for the food kiss, well you can see the pattern. She gets along well with other dogs and seems to like cats. She walks well on the leash, knows how to sit on command, when you get her attention, and is learning how not to jump up on people and things. She's very smart and responds to correction by sitting down and, of course, another kiss. She loves a good armpit or shoulder snuggle, belly rubs and naps with her human close to her. She has had her shots, flea and tick medication, is Heartworm negative and currently on Heartworm preventative. She is chipped for Texas, which will have to be changed, and probably needs a rabies shot. Punkin is currently being fostered by the Nuccio family whom you can contact at 209 736-9417 Calaveras Humane Society or via email directly at dknuccio@gmail.com to arrange a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Punkkin, a San Andreas Boxer/Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Great Dane for sale in San Andreas, or seeking a Boxer/Great Dane dog from a breeder in San Andreas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Andreas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Andreas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Great Dane breeders who help with Boxer/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Andreas paves the way for another one to be saved.
