Leo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Leo's Story...
LEO is a handsome young dog, almost 2 years old, weighing approx. 44 pounds. He is a really great guy, full of personality. Leo has a higher level of energy and loves to run, so he would be a great jogging or hiking buddy. Leo doesn't really get along with cats or dogs so he will do best as the only pet in his forever home. He will thrive in a home with an experienced pet owner. He loves to cuddle and his foster mom says he is a "great spooner"! Leo will make a wonderful companion. He is neutered, fully dewormed, and up to date on vaccinations. If you can provide Leo with a great and loving forever home, please contact us for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Nanaimo Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Nanaimo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Nanaimo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nanaimo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nanaimo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nanaimo paves the way for another one to be saved.
