MYA's Story...
THESE SWEET PUPPIES WERE SURRENDERED BY THEIR OWNER. ONE MIGHT WONDER WHY BUT KNOWING HE ALREADY HAS 14 DOGS MIGHT HELP TO EXPLAIN. THERE WERE 8 IN TOTAL AND OUR RESCUE PULLED 4 BECAUSE WE SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE FOSTERS FOR ALL 8. WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE PUPPIES IS THAT THE MOM WAS A GERMAN SHEPHERD AND THE FATHER WAS A GOLDEN RETRIEVER. THEY ARE 2 MONTHS OLD AND SO SO SWEET. THESE PUPPIES MOST DEFINITELY HAVE THE GENTLE EASY TEMPERAMENT OF A GOLDEN RETRIEVER. THEY HAVE ALL BEEN SPAYED OR NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED AND VACCINATED. THEY ARE LEARNING TO HOUSE TRAIN AND DO VERY WELL IN A CRATE. THEY ARE WELL ADJUSTED AND DESERVING OF THEIR VERY OWN FOREVER HOME WHERE THEY WILL BE LOVED. THE ADOPTION FEE FOR EACH PUPPY IS 425.00 AND COVERS SPAY/NEUTER,MICROCHIPPING AND VACCINATIONS AND TRANSPORT TO THE MIDWEST. OUR NEXT TRIP TO THE MIDWEST IS SCHEDULED FOR THE WEEKEND OF THE 21ST OF MARCH. FOR AN ADOPTION APPLICATION PLEASE EMAIL BLUES CITY RESCUE AT BAVERSA1@GMAIL.COM. THANK YOU!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MYA, a Waterbury German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever for sale in Waterbury, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Waterbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waterbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waterbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waterbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
