Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kiko is a female approximately 8 yrs old, black/tan, spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative.
Meet Kiko. We don't know much about her past, but we know it wasn't a good one. Kiko came into rescue scared of life, but she is slowly learning to trust and love again. The first time I threw her a toy, she went running through the house yelping as if I was going to harm her. But now when I throw a toy, she races the other dogs to be the first one to get it and shake the life out of it. Kiko will take all the stuffed toys in the house and put everyone in her bed and lay on top of them. Apparently she is making up for lost years and making sure she has enough toys to play with. It took Kiko two weeks to go outside when she came into rescue as she was scared of the world but now she is the first one out the back door (fenced in yard of course) and she can't wait to see what the world has for her to sniff today. And if there is a squirrel in he backyard, well that just makes her day. Kiko still has a long way to go. She needs to gain your trust. A home without children is a must for her. She needs a quiet and calm home where someone can spend more time with her showing her that life is good as she scares so easily by the slightest raise of a voice and any sudden movement. Walking her often will assist her in bonding with her person. Kiko is working on potty training and it is a work in progress. She is learning that if she does her business outside, she will get a treat and Kiko loves food as she apparently never had much due to how thin she was when she came into rescue. If you can find it in your heart to give this special little girl a fur-ever home, Kiko will shower you with nose kisses (she takes her nose and pushes it into your check) and give you unconditional love in return. Please check out her videos and see how far this little girl has come.

IMPS is a non-profit rescue organization that does not have a viewing facility to which you can come and view the dogs available for adoption. All of our MinPins are in loving homes in foster care. In order to meet the MinPin you are interested in, arrangements can be made with the foster parent, however, it is a requirement that the application be completed first.
If you wish to apply, please fill out the Min Pin Adoption Application at our website, www.minpinrescue.org and while there take a look at all our available min pins nationwide.
