Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This adorable little fella found himself dumped at a high kill shelter in a small town in TN. He was a matted mess, all the way to the skin. This rescue was made aware of him and got him out of there ASAP! Once the dirty matted hair was removed, there was a beautiful little purebred Pom under there. He was so grateful to get all that mess off of him; the groomer commented on what a happy dog he was. The only hair not matted was on his head and it is very soft and healthty, so we know all the rest of his hair will grow back and he will be even more handsome than he is now..if that is possible! Crunch continues to be a happy boy and extends his joy to all people he is around and to the other dogs in his foster home. He has taken Rocky Road ,(an adorable little Shih Tzu who is also available for adoption) under his "wing" at the foster home and shown Rocky (who was a bit timid) the ropes and is helping Rocky gain confidence. We will never know what kind of life Crunch had to ultimately end up in such a bad place; but no way does it reflect in his sweet, happy attitude. Caramel Crunch seemed very calm about any cats he has encountered and will probably co-exist peacefully with them. Crunch will probably be good with kids; but because of his small size, a home without small children would be best. He is a fit and trim little guy at about 10 pounds. To add to his attributes; Crunch is housetrained and a quiet little guy who does not bark. Caramel Crunch is neutered and all shots up to date and on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. He is more or less "the perfect dog "and will make some family very happy.
