Louie's Info...

I am housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Louie's Story...
Louie has been with us a month already. He came in as an owner surrender. He is a 16 week old male Blue Brindle Cane Corso. He is a typical puppy, but he is dominant and will require a breed savvy, and breed experienced home. We will not consider homes that have no prior experience with this breed and no adopters out of the state of Virginia. Louie will be current on vaccines, microchipped and fecal checked prior to placement. Because the growth plates of a Mastiff puppy expand at an accelerated rate, he is on a low protein, low fat, low calcium/phosphorus food in order to promote slow and steady growth. Louie will require obedience training as a stipulation to his contract, an additional neuter deposit(refundable upon proof of neuter between 6-7 months), and a crate purchase prior to adoption. Louie is currently in foster care in the Springfield area. We will not consider a home with young children less then 10 years old. Louie is continuing his crate training and house breaking, but is not 100% solid on either at this time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Virginia Beach Cane Corso puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Cane Corso puppy from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
