Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Leland came from a lady down South who had too many little dogs. You can see where his fur is discolored around his middle. That is because the woman kept a diaper on him all the time. His belly was blistered from the urine. His blisters have healed, but the stain remains as a grim reminder of his past. But all that is behind him now. We are told Leland is a super sweet boy. He loves to be close to his humans and loves to sit in your lap. This young boy is potty trained and gets along great with other dogs. Please help this Miniature Poodle mix find the loving home he deserves.

First Leland, the poodle. I called him poodlie poo ( said to him in a sing song voice) He is a very sweet boy and is NO trouble at all. He goes outside to use the bathroom. The thing to know about poodlie poo is that he is a dog that craves a lot of attention. If I was sitting he wanted to be in my lap or on the floor beside me. He does not have separation anxiety. At first when I would leave he would cry but very quickly he figured out I was coming back every time and got over that. He will not do well with anyone who does not want a dog that wants a lot of attention. He does just fine with other dogs but really could care less about them. He is a PEOPLE doggie. He sleeps with me at night and will stay in bed just as long as I do. He never gets out of the bed until I get up. I don’t think he will do well being crated for long periods and I hope he goes to a family that will not have to do that. He is very patient and will let you groom and bath him while he stands very still. I think he does not care what you are doing to him as long as he is getting your attention.
