Pumpkin's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Pumpkin's Story...
Pumpkin is finally ready for her forever home. She has been through a lot so she needs a very special adopter. She is utd on shots, spayed, & microchipped. She does not have any food or toy aggression and is no longer dog aggressive. She is very dominant. So therefore needs a home with other submissive dogs. She does need a home with children, she loves them to death. Pumpkin is not people aggressive but she is fearful, so she does need someone understanding and willing to work with her. She deserves love and stability. We are in no rush to place her but we are looking for that perfect home. She needs a home with NO cats and NO small animals. She does have a prey drive and will "hunt" them.

There is an adoption application, home visit, and reference check required. There will be an adoption fee of $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pumpkin, a Hampton American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Hampton, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Hampton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hampton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hampton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hampton paves the way for another one to be saved.
