My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut is a wonderful low energy and gentle girl. Sweet Peanut is about 6 to 7 years old and is thin at 54 pounds. She is in a great foster home now after being taken out of a rural shelter. Peanut is getting all the love and attention that she deserves and is eating well. She will put on those much need pounds in no time and be looking good. Peanut is being fostered in a home with 4 children, the youngest being 5. She is getting along great with everyone, even her 2 canine buddies. Her foster mom describes her as being "super affectionate and good with the kids and the other dogs in the house. She pretty much just wants to love and be loved. Peanut often comes up to family members ad gently rests her head on their knee. She is well-mannered, doesn't jump up, counter surf or swipe food, or chew on things that she shouldn't. Peanut is just as sweet as they come." This sweet girl loves to go for walks and would make a great companion for just about any family. We are not sure about the kitties, but with her personality we believe she would be just fine. Peanut is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and is micro-chipped. She also house trained and crate trained. If you think you could give Peanut the loving home she deserves, please complete an online adoption application and indicate Peanut in the notes section.
