My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hank was relinquished to the Coronado Animal Care Facility with his pal Trevor when their owner passed away.

He has the loveliest long ears and his fur is soft and curly, like a baby lamb. In these photos you will see that he does need to be groomed and that will be done as soon as he recovers from his neuter surgery.

Hank is quiet and calm and very sweet and affectionate. He is the kind of dog who would enjoy sitting with his family watching TV. An older couple would likely have fun with Hank, since he is a considerable gentleman and takes life at an slower pace.

He enjoys strolling with the walkers and has no issues with other dogs. We don't think Hank and Trevor are overly bonded, so they can be adopted separately.

Are you looking for an affectionate boy who appreciates a quieter approach to life? If you are, Hank may be the dog for you – come meet this easy going fellow.

You can meet Hank any day at the Coronado Animal Care Facility between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in adopting Hank, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Dog Adoption Counselor. You may fill out the online dog adoption application.
