And the Oscar for best dog-actor goes to ... Cody, the Redbone Coonhound/Retriever mix! Okay, maybe they don't give an Oscar for that but if they did, it would go to this fine 2 year old, 45-50 lb. boy from Tennessee. He was recently sprung from a nearby kill shelter. The workers there thought he was such a "super dog - great temperament, not aggressive in any way, loves people and other dogs." They couldn't figure out why the public never took him out, except that maybe he "has a non-descript look." Well, those were not very discerning adopters at that shelter and he is not non-descript once you get to know Cody and get him in front of a camera. Unfortunately, we can only show a few of this handsome boy's award-winning looks, but call or email us and we can show you plenty more. There is soulful Cody, sporty Cody with the tennis ball in his mouth, obedient Cody, precious Cody (i.e. give me a treat, Cody), smart boy Cody, stand at attention Cody.... This boy would make a great companion for an active person or family. We are sure he would love to go hiking in the woods, walking in the park, playing fetch with you and resting at your feet by the fire in the evenings.
