Clifford the BIG Red Dog's Story...
Hi! My Name is Clifford and I am around two years old and I weigh about 75 lbs. I am a big red dog. I know that I am mixed with Shep/Chow and Shepherd, I am gentle, but big, and would be OK living with young kids. I might knock them over, but I would lick them with lots of love! I had a family, and they were really nice to me, but I just got too big for their apartment. I am crate trained, I love riding in the car, I am house trained, and I a a GREAT WALKER ON A LEASH. If you would like to adopt me, give Sandy a call to set up a time to meet me 818-407-4145 or e-mail Lori who takes care of all of us at the rescue at: Lori@modernica.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clifford the BIG Red Dog, a Los Angeles Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
