Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dollie came to rescue when her elderly owner went to a nursing home. We were told that she was born in September 2012. Dollie is our unofficial rescue greeter. When any dog comes to rescue they WILL play with Dollie. She sees to that. Dollie has made friends with every dog that has come through the door. We once took in a very old female and Dollie knew that she had to be very gentle with Falene. Dollie just walked with her around the yard. No shenanigans. In meeting people, Dollie needs to make the first move but once she knows you, she's attentive and will ask for your attention. This young lady just loves to play. Frankly, she's packed on a bit of weight in rescue and weighs a chunky 15 pounds right now. Ten or twelve pounds would suit her better. That will happen easily when she's in a home that can control her portions. Dollie has a strong personality and needs to be with an owner who will be firm with her in learning the rules. I fell in love with her quickly but she just needs to know that she's not in charge of things. Dollie is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative and is microchipped. Dollie's adoption fee is $200 with all vet work done.
