ROCKO (R)'s Story...
Rocko is a super sweet, playful boy with lots of energy. He looks like a big teddy bear! Would be a great running partner, nice clean, fluffy coat. He didn't want to sit for photo time, but he walks nicely on a leash. Stuck in iso due to space. Rocko was turned into the shelter on 3/4/14 and they said he is good with kids, house trained and good with other animals. He is up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. His ID is 563971, he is in cage 833, is 4 years old and weighs 56 lbs. If you can provide Rocko a lot of exercise, he is the boy for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ROCKO (R), a Marietta Keeshond dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Keeshond for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Keeshond dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Keeshond breeders who help with Keeshond rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
