Meet Dozer, a sweet dog who loves to play, especially in the snow. How lucky he is this winter!

Dozer does great on walks as he listens and watches to make sure that he knows where to go. He has enough energy to be a fun dog, but he isn't overly energetic.

When his foster family is at home, Dozer is quite relaxed, and he loves to snuggle. He is housetrained and lets his people know when he needs to go out. He listens to basic commands and has done well with clicker training and food rewards.

Dozer is very anxious when his foster family leaves the house, so he would like to find a household in which someone is home much of the time. Dozer's anxiety is alleviated if his alone time is broken up with walks. He would also do well with another dog as a companion.

Dozer gets along with the other dogs, the cat, the bunnies, and the chickens at his foster home. He enjoys being with people, but he will lie down comfortably on his own in other rooms. He stays off the furniture, but he sleeps on the bed with one of the children at night.

If you think that this sweet and handsome boy is the one for you, contact Dozer's case managers at the e-mail address below.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Dozer.
