PENNY's Story...
Penny is a doll! We rescued her from a county shelter before being euthanized while she was very pregnant. She gave birth a week later to 5 beautiful puppies. She has been in foster care since then and her foster family says she is just a sweet and happy girl. She does need a fenced yard or to be walked a couple times a day because she likes to chase rabbits. She is very friendly and social, she likes to cuddle with you and she likes to play in a yard. She would be good to take to a dog park to play as well. She weighs maybe 15lbs and is fully grown. We think she is 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 years old. Her adoption fee is $175 and she will be vetted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PENNY, a Weeki Wachee Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Weeki Wachee, or seeking a Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Weeki Wachee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weeki Wachee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weeki Wachee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weeki Wachee paves the way for another one to be saved.
