Spike's Story...
Spike #951 is a 4-month-old male German Shepherd mix. We expect he will be approximately 50-70 pounds when full grown. Spike is a sweet and social fellow who does well with cats, other dogs, and children. We are working on crate and leash training. We know this process won't take him long to complete because he is so smart and eager to learn! Spike is a friendly pup who will greet you with a joyful wagging tail every day. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spike, a Waldorf German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
