Penelope's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Penelope's Story...
Penelope is 6 pounds of activity and love! This little one loves to be in the company of her people and would very much like a lap of her own to nap on. Penelope has diminished vision and needs someone who can help her through her daily activities. She is vulnerable to falling down stairs, walking of porches, etc. She hasn't quite figured out that going slower could keep her safe! This little gal has some separation anxiety. Penelope is fine with other dogs and cats, but is fragile and can be knocked over easily so a more quite setting would be best for her. In the absence of her people, she does take comfort in other quiet dogs that she can cuddle with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penelope, a Wilmington Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
