My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet sweet Coco, an adorable terrier mix, long-bodied and short-legged and friendly as can be. She charmed us the first day we saw her. In the throngs of dogs at the shelter, Coco stood out. We really wanted to help this amazing girl find a home of her own. She is always happy and smiling and eager to please. Coco is sweet and is a real homebody. She enjoys taking a nice long walk and is fabulous on lead but loves to get right back to her special spot in our kennel. When she finds her forever home she will be ecstatic to have a bonafide dog bed to curl up on. She will enjoy routine and be a very easy dog to care for. If you have a cat or cats, no worries there – Coco loves our cats! She likes most dogs but a few have rubbed her the wrong way. She does not care for boisterous, hyper dogs. She enjoys a calmer atmosphere. Coco is housebroken and crate-trained. Coco is full-grown at 30 lbs. and is a year old. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. She has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
