Bodie's Story...
Hi folks!
My name is Bodie. I am a young guy that has tons of energy. I get along great with my 5 brothers and sisters in my foster home. I am too smart! I love to play and rough house. I've been told that I don't know my own size or strength so I wouldn't be good in a house with young kids. I don't want to hurt anyone but I get so excited that I, sometimes, jump up and can look scary. My foster mom and dad think I just look silly but they are used to big silly teenage dogs like me.

I love to play with toys. There are not enough toys in the whole world for me to play with. I love to chase the ball. (I'm still learning how to bring it back) I am very good on a leash, in a crate and in the house. I ask to go outside. I bark very loudly when someone comes to the door. I can get a little pushy at the door but my foster mom just gives me a little tug on my collar and I calm right down.

I am searching for that special someone that has high energy like me. I would love to have someone that would play with me. Throw a toy for me and snuggle me every day. I would love to sleep in the bed but I'm not allowed so I settle for getting as close to the bed as possible to sleep. I will stay in my crate when I need to but I love to be right up underfoot. I am what mom calls a 'velcro dog'. She says this is the best for training.

I guess what I am asking is do you have a high play drive like me?
Please consider letting me become a family member. I promise I will be fun!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bodie, a Roswell German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Roswell, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Roswell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roswell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roswell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roswell paves the way for another one to be saved.
