UPDATE: Diana has an adoption pending!
Diana and her four siblings (Admiral, Sandy, Peaches) are available for adoption. Their mother is a 30-ish pound terrier mix, but the babies are enormous and will likely be large dogs. Our guess as to their father's mix is probably some combination of lab/mastiff/chow, but we cannot know for certain.
Diana's mother was rescued from a high kill rural shelter where she was pregnant and very sick. She came to us just 12 days before she delivered her babies which had to be delivered by emergency c-section because they were too big for her to deliver on her own. Brita is now healthy and has been an outstanding mother to these babies and the babies have spent their entire lives in a loving foster home. They are well socialized with humans, children, and other dogs of all sizes and ages.
Diana and her siblings are now 7 weeks old and will be available for adoption beginning the weekend of March 15, 2014 when they will be 8 weeks. They will all be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. All the puppies are large, happy, and healthy. All are eating solid food now.
Diana and her family will be available to meet on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Unleashed by Petco, 545 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD, from 10am - 2pm. Completed applications received prior to the adoption event may take precedence over applications received at the adoption event. An application is not a commitment, so email today to request one if you are even a little interested!
