Say hello to Magoo, a six year old male umbrella cockatoo. This bird is a master at wielding charm when seeking attention by saying, "I love you", "good boy, Magoo" and "hello buh-baby". He loves anybody willing to pick him up and offer some cuddles and he is also a relatively quiet, though not silent, umbrella cockatoo. Poor Magoo was relinquished to one of the avian veterinarians within the FPR network. He was left there with a beginning stage prolapse which has since been surgically corrected.. While he has been taken care of medically, it should be noted prolapse birds often prolapse more than once so his adopter should be prepared for that to be a reality. The surgery can be costly and he will only adopted out to a family that can commit to future care if needed. For the adopter willing to provide for his potential future needs, Magoo is a one in a million bird with his sweet disposition and social nature. If you give your heart to Magoo and accept he may need a little help again the future he will fill your home with love, joy and laughter.

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
