Rocky has one of the most lovable personalities you will ever meet. He simply loves anything and everything from humans to insects (dogs, cats, squirrels included). This dog does not have a mean bone in his entire body. Also, he simply adores children, but is very muscular, plays rough and can knock little ones over quite easily. He is exceedingly clean and very well behaved with the exception of meeting someone or other dogs either on walks or in the house. He is so attuned to people and other creatures that he just looses all control and becomes a bit of a pest. But aside from that, which I consider not a huge problem nor certainly a bad thing (better that than vicious), this animal is perfect. He is neutered, has had his shots (due again in July), is in exceptionally great health, crate trained and not suffering from separation anxiety at any level. He is only crated when left at home alone, aside from that he has the run of the home. He does not go up on furniture nor generally into the garbage (hopefully, he does have some weaknesses).

This dog is beautiful and I am constantly complimented on how fabulous he looks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Hamilton American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
