Hi my name is Velvet and I am a purebred 3 year old female Shar Pei. I weigh about 45 lbs. I am adorable, don't you think? I play nicely with all dogs,

My foster parents bring me to the dog park often and I play with all big and small dogs. I would do best in a home with another medium sized dog as I love playing with my foster siblings-one is a german shepherd and one is a doberman.

I sleep on my own doggie bed and snore through the night. I do not bark really at all. I really would like to have my own yard. I do get a little hyper sometimes, so you have to be firm and tell me to sit. I know how to sit. I am also learning fetch. When I go for long walks I start to slobber some, my foster parents think it is adorable, but I just wanted to warn you. Remember that famous dog Beethoven from the movies who slobbered? Well, I am not that bad.
