My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Hi! My name is CIERA, and everyone says that I'm one foxy lady! Although I do resemble a beautiful fox, I'm actually a Chow mix with gorgeous red/ Chestnut-colored fur. I'm about six years old, and I'm a well-mannered and laid-back sweetheart. I truly enjoy getting brushed, and I walk perfectly on a leash. It may take me a little while to get to know a person, but once I do, I'm a loving and faithful companion. I know how to sit on command, and I'm a smart girl who's ready to learn more, if you'll just be calm and patient with me. The shelter staff isn't sure if I've been house trained, so I'll probably need to be shown what do do when I get to my new home. I bet I can catch on really fast! I prefer a calm and low-key environment, and I'd do best in a home without kids. I get along well with other dogs, and I'd love to have a small yard in my new home. I hope you'll come visit me soon at the El Cajon Animal Shelter.
