~Nadia~

This is beautiful, elegant Nadia. Nadia and her puppies were surrendered to a shelter in southern Florida. While her puppies were adopted from the shelter, Nadia was left only to be put to sleep.

In the past Nadia did not receive responsible care; we were informed by the shelter before we arranged her transfer that Nadia is heartworm positive, quite thin, also that her eyes were mysteriously cloudy. Further, she suffered an unknown injury leaving her tail partial.

Once Nadia came under our rescue she was examined by our highly renowned specialist in ophthalmology. The cloudiness in her eyes is known as Florida Spots. Since the condition is rare and specific to only south Florida and the northern Bahamas it has not been awarded medical research. Nadia's vision is strong, not impacted and will not worsen. She is under protocol to successfully rid her of heartworms, fully supplied to her adopter by our rescue.

Tender in temperament, calm in demeanor, serene in spirit, aware and charmingly dainty, looking into Nadia's face sets a moment that is indelible. She's beautiful. Just beautiful. Nadia would find delight in any home environment where she can be easily left alone to peacefully enjoy herself in her own company, or in the company of other furred family members.
