Sierra in CA
Sierra is a aprox 5 year old female that was pulled from a Long Beach CA shelter.
Sierra is a sweet, very affectionate looking for a family. She loves people and wants nothing more than to be by them. The more people the better. She is good with men, women, and children.
She enjoys small sessions of ball play especially where she can jump as high as possible. Outdoors her energy level increase and she wants to run. She likes to play chase games.
Without much experience with other dogs she needs supervision and is learning how to appropriately greet them. She would do best in a home with dogs her size and a neutral demeanor.
She is lower drive than most Dutch Shepherds but will chase small prey such as rabbits and squirrels. She will dig for gophers if she finds their holes. Sierra shouldn't be trusted around cats.
Indoors she is a dream. She's very calm and lays next to your feet. Her manners are decent as she doesn't jump on furniture or get into things but she needs some help learning not to bump your hands looking for treats every time there is food out.
Sierra is ideal for a family that wants a Dutch Shepherd but can't provide the intense exercise and stimulation they typically need. She's a great companion wanting nothing more than to be part of an affectionate family.
Sierra is altered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, free of internal and external parasites, and micro-chipped. She is located in CA but NADSR does adopt out nationally.
