Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spayed Female
about 1 year old
weighs about 18 lbs
This cute little pug terrier mix showed up in the backyard of one of our volunteers. She is shy at first, but warms up quickly. She is affectionate and so loving once she gets to know you. She is hoping to have her very own forever family. She is afraid at first with other dogs, but once she gets to know them, she is very playful and friendly. She not only looks adorable, but also has very playful cute personality. She enjoys playing with her foster brother and his friends, but will also play fetch or with toys by herself. She has really improved with her fearfulness! It's so rewarding to see this girl get more comfortable with strangers. She will always probably be shy with new people, but her progress is wonderful. She such a smart, affectionate girl who has so much love to give.
Mugsy has been examined by a veterinarian and is very healthy. She is spayed, crate trained, house trained and knows basic obedience commands. Her foster parents continue to work with socializing her. She'd love to have a new mom or dad that is home frequently. She is playful and friendly with other dogs if they are calm and not fearful. Ideally it would be best if she has a new owner who is willing to work with and understands shy dogs.
