Happy's Story...
This little nut is Happy... She marches to the beat of her own tiny drum, that is for sure. She has her own little party going on in her own little world and it gives us loads of laughs. She is picky about dogs, and sure wasn't a fan of the toddlers at the park -- we think they may compete with the spotlight and she ain't havin that. She is super fun, loves to play and entertains herself in the silliest ways. She is not house broken and we believe she spent a great deal of time living in a crate before she came to us. She is currently putting on weight so she can be spayed, which we believe will be able to happen very soon. If you would like to apply for Happy please send us an email at TeamSKRescue@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Happy, a Aiken Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Aiken, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Aiken.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aiken already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aiken breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aiken paves the way for another one to be saved.
