Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shepherd is a super sweet Lab/Great Pyrenees mix who came all the way from Louisiana to find his forever home! He is 2-3 years old, with the temperament of an older dog. He is very laid back and loves to take naps and cuddle, but will also get excited when you come home to greet him. Shepherd is great with people and other dogs! He does have heartworms, but is being treated and we are sure that he will make a quick recovery! He is house trained, but needs a little work on the leash, as he does pull pretty hard at first. Shepherd is the perfect pet for anyone who wants a big, loving, cuddle bug!
The Empty Shelter Project is a foster based/all volunteer rescue in Northern Virginia. There is a $250 adoption donation that goes directly to recouping the funds put into Shepherd's care and directly back into helping other animals.
