Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Howell is a young buff male Cocker Spaniel (mix?) who weighs about 26 pounds. He is healthy and approximately 1 year old. He still has that puppy-like cuteness! Cockers retain their puppy faces for their whole life!
Howell is an all around happy boy who brings everyone joy and happiness. He is very healthy and free from any skin, eye or ear problems.
Howell and his foster mom are attending weekly training classes together. He will soon test for the Canine Good Citizenship test, administered by the AKC (American Kennel Club). Howell is friendly with other gentle dogs, so he would love to have a brother or sister to run together. Due to his energy level, Howell will do best with a home with yard or with daily walks.

Who We Are
Welcome Home Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization. We are a group of dedicated individuals who have gathered to bring about the much needed change in the ways our society deals with animal welfare. We are the coalition of all-volunteer, experienced dog owners/handlers who believe all dogs deserve a good home and with the balanced allocation of our unifying forces, we can make a difference that truly matters. To make the journey into reducing overpopulation and the number of dogs in shelters, Welcome Home Dog Rescue offers rescue and adoption services specific to the adopter’s needs and lifestyles so that both ends of the leash can find a happy home together.
