Jemma's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Jemma's Story...
Jemma was surrendered by her owner who no longer could take care of her. She was left at the city shelter alone and extremely scared. Urban Animal Rescue took her into their Rescue Program and she was sad and confused. She is a Golden Retriever-Cocker Spaniel mix approximately 25lbs. The Golden dominates her looks as well as her personality. Jemma is a smart and gentle little lady. She loves going outside and is easy to walk on a leash. She loves to snuggle and has been around children with no problem. Jemma would do great in a household with humans and canines alike!

She is living in a daycare/boarding facility in the Chicago area and is spayed and current on all vaccines. The adoption fee of $300 each allows SAFE Chicago save her live and the lives of others! If you live in the Chicagoland are and would like more information about Jemma, please email info@urbanoutsitters.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jemma, a Chicago Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
