McKenzie's Story...
McKenzie is a blue eyed beauty queen! She is a sweet girl (with short little legs) who was found as a stray, pregnant and scared. Her pups have been weaned and now she is ready for a forever home where she can be spoiled and pampered! McKenzie is a quiet girl who loves everyone. She is great with other dogs and kids. McKenzie is about 20 pounds, 2 years old, housebroken and an affectionate snuggle bug! She is in foster care in West TN but will be transported once an adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McKenzie, a Hamburg Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
