A Big Active Boy With Brains To Boot!
Hey there, folks! It's me, ravishing Rufus! I'm one tall drink of water coming at you with all my 65 pounds of glory. I’m perhaps an Olde English Bully as I’m a bit taller, bigger and I think…more handsome!
I came to CEBR after living with my family for almost all of my 6 and a half years, I know they loved me but with my two human siblings getting all the attention, they knew I could be in a better place, so here I am! My foster family says I love attention, I don't know what they're talking about. I am very good at sharing with my fuzzy foster siblings... As long as they understand that I get pet first, middle, and last!!!
Speaking of my foster siblings, I live with both cats and dogs and get along great with both. The cats are pretty boring, sometimes they run around and act crazy, but I'm not too concerned with that. I'm not so sure about "bully play", I have no idea why my foster brother and sister like to nibble each other's faces all the time... Weirdos. I do love to run and play with my other foster sister around the yard, I have lots of energy to burn off!
Speaking of which, I love, love, love to go on walks. The second I see my leash I do my happy dance, but on walks I'm a perfect gentleman. I don't pull and when I see other dogs I make sure to be on my best behavior, foster mom says that even though I can be crazy, deep down I have a gentle soul!
I am up to date on all of my medical care and vaccines, I’m neutered, and am pretty good when you try to groom me. Every once in a while I may give you guff when you clean my tail. But I’m all talk!
I’m ready to be in my forever home for the holidays. Let’s play, I’ll even let you dress me up in holiday gear!

Rufus’s adoption fee is $525. Our adoption criteria for Rufus are as follows:
- CEBR Adoption Radius Only.
- He would LOVE a home with another playmate!
- He needs an active family that likes to go on walks.
- He's working on manners, he listens well but sometimes gets excited and forgets.
