Hi there. My name is Beau. I am about 4 years old and I weigh about 55 lbs.
I was found as a stray and Lisbon and brought in to the pound. I was wearing an old dog license so the pound looked it up to locate my owner. My old owner said he couldn't keep me so he gave me to some friends of his... The pound called the friends who were watching me and they said they'd agreed to watch me temporarily for my owner, but he wouldn't come back and get me when they asked him to on several different occasions. Long story short, the new people ended up coming in to the pound and they just surrendered me so that I can get a new home.
They said I was such a good boy, but they just didn't want to keep me. I wasn't theirs and they were just expected to keep me for a couple of weeks, but ended up with me for months and months.
The had nothing but good things to say about me. I love and get along good with other medium and large size dogs. If I am in a home by myself with no other dogs, I am just kind of a couch potato, but when I have other dogs around I am more active. They also said that I was strictly a house dog, so I am house broken also.
I am a very good boy with very good manners. I love to lounge around and just be calm and handsome. Those are two things I am just great at.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
