Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jazz is a pretty black and rust, 3yr old with perky natural ears and a docked tail. Jazz had been waiting a while for the perfect home to come along, and while she is not a dog for everyone we are confident the right home is out there for Jazz. She needs good, consistent, positive training and firm boundaries from the start in her new home. Her ideal home would be with adults who have had experience with working breed dogs. Jazz is very smart so she needs a home that will be fair, structured and able to provide her with an outlet for her energy and intelligence. A fenced in yard is a must, because Jazz can romp and play for hours a day! Jazz is house trained and crate trained too, but she whines sometime if she’s in her crate when her person is home, because she wants to be with you at all times. While Jazz lives with other dogs in her foster home, she is better suited as an only pet, so she can finally have all the attention she greatly deserves. Sadly, Jazz was adopted once before, but the adopters did not understand that Jazz needed more physical and mental stimulation. The adopters thought Jazz was being defiant and chose to use adverse training methods to settle her down. It’s unfortunate, because such an unnecessary punishment could have been avoided if Jazz was given the exercise she craved and structure she needed. Undoubtedly, this experience has left Jazz a bit scarred, so we are seeking a home that will shower Jazz with positive experiences. To see pictures of Jazz go to www.dobe.net.
