Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB February 23, 2004.
Shadow is an active 10-year-old with distinguishing emerald eyes. She bounds up stairs and enjoys playing with her toy mouse. Her name is quite apt since her black and grey colouring looks like moving shadows when she moves. She is quite generous with head rubs and enjoys receiving belly rubs in return. It did not take long for Shadow to bond with her foster parents and she now enjoys sitting and lying on them when they are on the couch. It will be hard to resist petting her super soft fur.
Shadow can be fiercely independent by sitting alone in another part of the house. However, she gets excited and chatty if you have been away from her for a while; she usually greets her foster parents when they come through the front door. Her foster parents were told she would probably do best as an only cat, to soak up all the attention for herself, and that she'd be best suited to a home with older children. We dare you to meet this affectionate beauty and not fall in love!
In lieu of our standard adoption fee, a donation of your choice is appreciated--thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family!
