Meet Henry! Henry is a calm, friendly 10lb Chihuahua who is around 10 years young. In the time that Henry has been with Broken Tail Rescue, he has won the hearts of many volunteers with his sweet and gentle demeanor. He has worked hard at perfecting his snuggling technique, and he’s ready for people to call his own and a warm bed or lap to nap on. Don't let his age fool you though! Henry is in great health and can keep up on long walks, trips to the park, and all your errands that would be enhanced by some good Chihuahua company.

Henry is playful with small dogs, but likes to make a little show of bravado when he sees a big dog on a walk. He lives with 2 small dogs, 2 cats and 2 kids in his foster home and is great with all of them. A very busy home with young kids is probably not the best match for Henry, but older kids who are respectful of a dog his size should be just fine! Henry likes to snuggle with his foster mom's 12 year old daughter and sleep in her bed all night. He likes to burrow under the covers.

Henry is a quiet guy, so he would be ideal for apartment living. He rides well in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and looks pretty darn cute in dog clothes. He is 100% housebroken and is fine taking bathroom trips in the morning, after a work day, and before bed. He is already neutered and up to date on all his vaccines. Now he’s just waiting to find his forever home!
