Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Harper is a happy and friendly one year old Pit Bull mix. She arrived at Friendship in January 2014 with three of her puppies. Harper received excellent foster care. She and the pups remained in foster care until the puppies could be weaned.
Harper was the perfect guest during her stay and learned some basic commands, including “drop it.” She especially loves to play fetch and is very good at catching a tennis ball before it hits the ground. Harper enjoyed a few pack walks and was very well behaved during them. It is not known how Harper will react to cats or young children, so it would be best if children in her new family are 10 years old or older. She loves walks and is very energetic. Harper would love to be adopted by an active family that would include her in their activities.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
