Perk's Story...
Perk is a 13 year old min pin who was abandoned after the death of her family in a boarding facility. Sadly this dog family of 3-her, her hubby and her baby stayed in the facility for 3 years 10 months. The male passed and just Perk and her baby were there when we took them. They are not bonded and they would do great in seperate homes. Their foster keeps them separate for eating purposes if someone would like to adopt them together. She has some medical issues including sight impairment and changes due to aging. The vet didn't want to spay this dog but we will have to consider the risks when adopting her out as we send all dogs out spayed/neutered. Please write us at newbeginningresq@aol.com for more information on Perk. She is only 3 pounds.

Must be 21 or older to adopt. Application, home check, reference checks mandatory.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Perk, a Plainview Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Plainview, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Plainview.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainview already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainview breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainview paves the way for another one to be saved.
