found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
I am a six year old Pit mix. My previous owner became homeless and had no way to keep caring for me. So she brought me to the shelter hoping another family would see what a great dog I am. She told the folks that I was very good with kids but could jump a six foot fence. I have been housebroken but may need an adjustment period to remember that skill. One more thing, I really don't like those pesky things you call cats.
At least here at the shelter I have my basic needs met, like food and water plus a roof over my head. However, I am longing to find my forever home and a family to love. I have plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me?? Come and have a meet-n-greet with me.
I am still a young lady at heart and I weigh around 50 pounds. I have been checked out by a veterinarian and neutered. I received a set of preventative shots, have been wormed, and tested negative for heartworms. I have also been microchipped.
I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. You will receive a Rebate Certificate that can be used towards payment of a training course with the trainer of your choice. Sheltered Paws will rebate back to you a dollar value up to but not to exceed $100.00.
You can contact my friend, Lori by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on how I can become part of your family.
See you soon, SAMMIE.
