My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet cute Charlie! He's a 3 year old shepherd mix that was transferred from another facility. Charlie is a shy but affectionate boy. He's probably not had the best life up until now and that's all about to change. Charlie was selected to participate in Friendship's Prison Dog Program. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the Grafton Correctional Facility being trained in basic obedience, manners, proper leash walking and will be socialized. Charlie left for training in early March.

If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.
