Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mittens will melt your heart. She is sweet, a little timid, and loves to cuddle. She is a four year old Chihuahua who is the victim of a landlord's refusal to allow her to stay with her human family.
Mittens takes a few days to really bond, but once she does, she is a velcro dog. She will follow you everywhere and wants to be in your lap. She is very well-behaved, housebroken, and knows how to use a doggie door. She is not a barker unless someone comes to the door.
Mittens takes an inexpensive medication for infrequent seizures. She does very well on the medication and is on a very low dose, so this is not a big deal.
Mittens truly is a gem, and she will be perfect for someone out there. Her foster family adores her, but knows she needs her own forever home!
Mittens' adoption fee is $225. Adopters must live within 150 miles or 3 hours drive of the Quad City area.
For more information about Mittens, email Debbie@k9kindnessrescue.org or fill out an online application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org.
Mittens and K9 Kindness Rescue thank you for considering adoption through rescue for a new family companion!
